Sulme provokuese q\u00eb nd\u00ebrmor\u00ebn monarkofashist\u00ebt grek\u00eb kund\u00ebr RP t\u00eb Shqip\u00ebris\u00eb, n\u00eb koh\u00ebn kur n\u00eb Greqi zhvillohej lufta civile, n\u00ebn pretekstin se gjoja Shqip\u00ebria u jepte ndihma forcave komuniste greke. M\u00eb 2 gusht 1949 n\u00eb or\u00ebn 5\u00b0\u00b0 tri batalione greke t\u00eb mb\u00ebshtetura nga artileria dhe aviacioni sulmuan befasisht territorin e Republik\u00ebs Popullore t\u00eb Shqip\u00ebris\u00eb n\u00eb sektorin e Bozhigradit, piramida 54-55 me nj\u00eb front prej 700-800 metra gjer\u00ebsi, hyn\u00eb rreth 300-400 metra n\u00eb thell\u00ebsi t\u00eb tok\u00ebs shqiptare dhe q\u00eblluan me artileri fshatin Vihodov\u00eb, ku posta e kufirit b\u00ebri nj\u00eb q\u00ebndres\u00eb heroike (shih: Posta e Vidohov\u00ebs).. Pas 5 or\u00eb luftimesh t\u00eb ashpra, forcat e kufirit t\u00eb Republik\u00ebs Popullore t\u00eb Shqip\u00ebris\u00eb zmbraps\u00ebn armikun deri n\u00eb kufi dhe rivendos\u00ebn gjendjen e m\u00ebparshme.
