Gjat\u00eb vitit akademik 1976-77 q\u00ebndroi n\u00eb Paris, n\u00eb “\u00c9cole Pratique des Hautes \u00c9tudes”, ku ndoqi studimet p\u00ebr grad\u00ebn shkensore “Doktoratur”
\n n\u00eb studimin e let\u00ebrsis\u00eb, me p\u00ebrqendrim n\u00eb teorin\u00eb letrare. U laurua “Doktor i Shkencave” n\u00eb fush\u00ebn e let\u00ebrsis\u00eb n\u00eb\u00a0Universitetin e Prishtin\u00ebs, m\u00eb 1984.<\/p>\n
N\u00eb vitin 1986 Ibrahim Rugova u zgjodh an\u00ebtar korrespondent i Akademis\u00eb s\u00eb Arteve dhe Shkencave t\u00eb Kosov\u00ebs.
\nPastaj, p\u00ebr afro dy dekada, veprimtarin\u00eb e veta shkencore i zhvilloi n\u00eb Institutin Albanologjik si hulumtues i let\u00ebrsis\u00eb. Nj\u00eb koh\u00eb ka qen\u00eb kryeredaktor i revist\u00ebs\u00a0Gjurmime albanologjike\u00a0t\u00eb k\u00ebtij Instituti. <\/p>\n
M\u00eb 1988 u zgjodh kryetar i Shoqat\u00ebs s\u00eb Shkrimtar\u00ebve t\u00eb Kosov\u00ebs.
\nSi intelektual i shquar Ibrahim Rugova u zgjodh, m\u00eb 23 dhjetor 1989, kryetar i\u00a0Lidhjes Demokratike t\u00eb Kosov\u00ebs, partis\u00eb s\u00eb par\u00eb politike n\u00eb Kosov\u00eb q\u00eb sfidoi drejtp\u00ebrdrejt regjimin komunist n\u00eb fuqi.

Rugova u zgjodh President i Republik\u00ebs s\u00eb Kosov\u00ebs. U rizgjodh President i Republik\u00ebs s\u00eb Kosov\u00ebs n\u00eb zgjedhjet e mbajtura n\u00eb mars t\u00eb vitit 1998.<\/p>\n
N\u00ebn udh\u00ebheqjen e Rugov\u00ebs LDK-ja fitoi shumic\u00ebn e votave n\u00eb zgjedhjet e para lokale t\u00eb sponsorizuara nd\u00ebrkomb\u00ebtarisht n\u00eb Kosov\u00ebn e pasluft\u00ebs n\u00eb tetor t\u00eb vitit 2000 si dhe n\u00eb zgjedhjet e para nacionale n\u00eb vitin 2001 dhe n\u00eb zgjedhjet e dyta lokale t\u00eb vitit 2002. M\u00eb 4 shkurt 2002 parlamenti i Kosov\u00ebs zgjodhi Rugov\u00ebn president.<\/p>\n
Rugova vitet e fundit vuante nga nj\u00eb s\u00ebmune r\u00ebnd\u00eb dhe nd\u00ebrroi jet\u00eb m\u00eb 21 janar 2006.<\/p>\n
